INTRODUCTION: The Bachelor of

Creator of all life and beauty, and his creation of the universe is
the greatest artwork of all time. Along with the strong Christian
educational foundation, you will learn the expressions of Christianity
through all manner of Christian art, music, drama, writing,
traditions, tokens, types, shadows, preaching, teaching and religious
indoctrination.
BCE.l INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE DOCTRINE

synthetic, bringing together the references from the whole Bible,
bearing upon a major proposition. Some of the major doctrines of the
Bible are included in this study.
BCE.2 EVANGELISM - Credit Units = 3
Students will learn that souls must be brought to Christ before they
are converts, ready to disciple. This is a subject too often neglected
in the Church, and yet its importance is paramount. Students will be
encouraged to put soulwinning compassion into action, as an individual
and as part of the Church, in order to align with the Great Commission
of Christ.
BCE.3 HISTORY OF PENTECOSTAL REVIVAL

This study takes the student back to the `roots' of the Pentecostal
Experience - the Book of Acts, chapter two, verse four. The student

testimonies of people of the early 20th Century outpouring of the Holy
Spirit. Heavy library research is involved, and the student must
master the material sufficiently to teach the material.

maintaining a fresh spiritual experience with God. This study
penetrates deeply into the experience of Spiritual Ecstasy, which is
literally the earnest, the foretaste, of glorious worlds to come.
Students will be practically and Scripturally strengthened, and made
to rejoice in their Pentecostal experience. God, by his Word and by
the Holy Spirit, has given spiritual drink to the believer in Christ -
equal to his faith, understanding and submission. Students are
encouraged to embrace this vitality in their faith.
BCE.5 BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION (Hermeneutics)
Credit Units = 3
In this study of Hermeneutics students are taught to search true
meanings for themselves, to study methodically and to follow basic
guidelines, while depending on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in
order to minister with confidence. Students learn there is no amount
of reading, studying or praying that will suffice, if the Bible is
erroneously interpreted.
BCE.6 MINISTRIES OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Credit Units = 3

to pinpoint the areas where Christian education is needed, and can be
utilized. Provides excellent exercise in the performance of certain
administrative duties.

the Bible student, and to assist the student in recognizing and
encouraging leadership abilities in others. This subject illustrates
the indispensable need for good Christian leaders, and will introduce
basic biblical guidelines for achieving this goal through scriptural
motivational skills and practical Christian training. Christian
leadership is not always easy; this study can make it easier and more
worthwhile.

messages on the airwaves, including the Internet.

This study stresses the scriptural importance and organization of a
good religious library for all age groups, to properly research and
study the Scripture.
BCE.l5 STRENGTHENING THE FAMILY AND HOME
Credit Units = 3
This study teaches that the family is the bedrock of society. Destroy
the family and you destroy homes, communities, nations, and humanity's
individual sense of worth. In its lace is a world filled with a
plethora of `deformed' offspring. This deformity is both
psychologically and spiritual. Students will learn where and how the
influx of the philosophy of secular Humanism has entered powerful
arenas, and of the political power they wield. This study emphatically
reveals the family as God's own plan for man, in the earth. Further,
it offers an incentive for students to launch a spiritual battle
against the enemies of God and human beings everywhere, by knowing the
scriptural foundations as they relate to the family.
BCE.l6 THE CHRISTIAN HOME - Credit Units = 3
This study reviews various `family systems' and suggests a home-life
based on Christian principles. Further, it forcefully presents them
for consideration by the student. The importance of considering the
temperament of each individual in the home is clearly defined. This
consideration is crucial to the development of a cohesiveness, or of a
binding of families together, as each one learns to maintain a daily
`walk' with God. A good lesson in uniting the spiritual with the
practical.
BCE.l7 PASTORAL COUNSELING - Credit Units = 3
In this course the student will gain an insight into the rich
theological framework that supports and directs a biblical approach to
counseling. Connecting biblical doctrine with practical living.

The Thesis or Dissertation is the most important assignment of this
Course. It must contain six thousand words or more, with subject
selected by SBTS on request, or by the student, on approval by SBTS,
and must be relative to the general Bachelor of Christian Education
course of study. Stringent grading standards are applied to content,
form, clarity, thoroughness in communicating propositions, and in
adhering to the SBTS Thesis Form for typing and layout.
Thesis/Dissertation must be separately bound from the Course Notebook.
